Tanki Online - Maps - BardaBarda is a medium sized map and is an excellent map for Catch the flag battles, as well as Team Death Match games. Shaft, Vulcan, Thunder, Smokey and Railgun can get a lot of joy here but this map is equally good for short range weapons such as Firebird, Freeze, Hammer and Isida. Overall, I love the Barda map but if there is room for improvement it would be the addition of perhaps two more Control Points as there are currently just three of them. With two bridges, high and low level terrains, mixed in with a number of buildings and wall ruins, Barda has a bit of everything for all hulls and all turrets. Death Match battles need high numbers to create something intense, allowing players to rack up a decent number of kills, XP points and Crystals.
I often find the Catch the flag battles a little odd, in as much as the flags are either poorly defended by teams, or not at all, with most of the battle focused on the larger of the two bridges. This can be frustrating if enjoy playing a defensive role, as I frequently do, as you feel somewhat isolated with two, three or more enemy tanks bearing down on you - the odds are heavily stacked against you. Barda is available to players who hold the rank of Gefrieter and higher in the Ranks Structure. Take a quick tour of the Barda MapBelow is a "Real Time" tour of the Barda Map, showing the flag positions and the routes between the two. It also shows many of the supplies drop points along the way.
Booster Drop Zones on the Barda MapBelow is the plan of the Barda map showing all the booster drop locations. Both the flag locations also double up as Control Points, with one more CP in the centre of the map. The speed boost boxes are well placed for swift attacks on an enemy base in Catch the flag mode, and there is enough time to grab a speed boost near one flag, race to the other flag, and return, if using Hornet or Wasp hulls, even in the early levels of the game.
