Tanki Online - Maps - DeathtrackThe Deathtrack map on Tanki is quite large and ranks as one of my favourites for playing Control Points and Catch the flag. Team Death Match and individual Death Match battles are good if there are decent numbers of players in attendance, although playing 1 v 1 with Railgun, Thunder and Smoky turrets with faster moving hulls is a good option. The battlefield is pretty much a concrete jungle with a substantial road network with walls, platforms and raod bridges.
All the other turrets; Ricochet, Twins, Hammer, Vulcan, Firebird, Freeze, Isida and Shaft can all enjoy a game on Deathtrack, making one of the best map in the game. You will find lots of walls to hide behind, a decent number of buildings and lots of roads, a single bridge, some long straight roads that offer great line of sight. The two flags are in opposite corners with all the Boosters you could ever want to attack or defend the base. This is just as well as the routes to the two bases are reasonably exposed, especially the blue team flag which can be attacked from four directions. There are surprisingly just five Control Points on Deathtrack, with the blue team flag doubling up as one of them. To cover the ground to capture these points, and escape enemy fire takes a fairly quick hull. Big hulls are really only useful here for those wanting to take up a defensive position in catch the flag and team deathmatch. Deathtrack is available to players who hold the rank of First Sergeant and higher in the Ranks Structure. Take a quick tour of the Deathtrack MapBelow is a "Real Time" tour of the Take a quick tour of the Deathtrack Map, showing the flag positions and the routes between the two. It also shows many of the supplies drop points along the way.
Booster Drop Zones on the Deathtrack MapBelow is the plan of the Deathtrack map showing all the booster drop locations. Speed boosters are present in large numbers with 11 of them, and they are needed to attack an enemy base and race home with the flag, not to mention capturing the control points effectively. When running the flag back to your team base, it pays to plan your route beforehand to take advantage of the Double Armour boosters and Repair Kits, although don't be surprised if you run in to the odd enemy tank positioned close by waiting for you.
