Tanki Online - Maps - FarmThe Farm map on Tanki is a small map on and entirely flat surface with no ramps, no raised levels and no sunken levels. There are however some partial wall that divide the map in half with two gaps to drive through to attack the enemy base and territory. There are several other obstacles that can be used to avoid enemy fire such as dead trees, a water tower (I think) and a pair of shipping containers. The map is open to play from a very early stage in a new Tanki player's career, and is arguably one of the best in these early days.
Catch the Flag is popular on Farm, as are Death Match battles. Control Points and Team Death Match seem to be less common but can be every bit as good with a full compliment of players. The two team flags are located to the rear of each base in a near central location and it takes less than 10 seconds to get from one to the other, even without boosters with one of the smaller hulls. There is just one control point which is positioned to the south side of the map, in the middle, sitting in a gap between two walls. You can argue that the west side of the map, the blue team territory, has better defensive positions with better features to hide behind but this is not generally reflected in battle. Farm is suitable for all turrets; Shaft, Vulcan, Railgun, Thunder, Smoky, Ricochet, Twins, Hammer, Firebird, Freeze, and Isida, and even Shaft and Railgun can find some longer range sniping options Farm is available to players who hold the rank of Gefreiter and higher in the Ranks Structure. Take a quick tour of the Farm MapBelow is a "Real Time" tour of the Farm Map showing the two team flags, routes between them and supplies drop points.
Booster Drop Zones on the Farm MapBelow is the plan of the Farm map showing all the booster drop locations. A lot of the map in it's original form is actually out of bounds, and by trying to access these parts result in a self-destruction. There are two double damage boosters in the northern part of the map, separated by a wall, plus two double damage boosters and two repair kits in each half of the map. There are no speed boosters on the Farm map, as there is no real need for them.
