Tanki Online - Maps - NoiseNoise is a fairly small map on Tanki Online and allows up to 16 players at a time. The Noise map is very well suited to all game modes but Catch the flag and Control Points seem to be more popular than either the Death Match and Team Death Match battles. The better team battles begin when there are four or more present in each team. Noise is a square map on four levels. The bottom level is where the blue team base is located, the second layer is basically a platform that takes up most of the east half of the battlefield, there is then a third level which covers the north west section of the battlefield and then the fourth level is in the south west which is where the red team base is located.
Catch the Flag is especially good and it gets really hectic at times. It is hard to say if the map favours one team or not but a casual observation would lead to the belief that the red team, whose base is on the top level, should win more battles but this does not appear to happen in reality. If there is a full compliment on both teams, a 60 minute battle can provide a large crystal award to the top scorers on the winning team, and possibly for the top scorers on the losing tea, depending on the difference in the number of flags captured. This may be one of the reasons for the popularity of this particular map. The two subways, one from the lowest level to the second, and from the second to the top level are good places to plant mines as most players will not see them, depending on their viewing angle. There are three control points with one in the centre of the battlefield adjacent to the red team base on the way up to the upper level, the other two are where the team flags are positioned. Most types of turret can get a real involvement on this map although Shaft players may find it more difficult to have a really effective role. You will see many Firebirds, Freeze, Hammer and Ricochet players here but those with strong Smoky and Railgun can also play a key role. Vulcan players are typically defenders of the flag and are effective at pinning enemy tanks to their base. Noise is available to players who hold the rank of Sergeant Major and higher in the Ranks Structure. Take a quick tour of the Noise Map
Below is a "Real Time" tour of the Take a quick tour of the Noise Map Map, showing the flag positions and the routes between the two. It also shows many of the supplies drop points along the way.
Booster Drop Zones on the Noise MapBelow is the plan of the Noise map showing all the booster drop locations. There is just one repair kit which is on the second level adjacent to the ramps that lead down to the bottom level. You will find a double armour booster on one of these ramps and a double damage booster on the other. Another double armour boosters is positioned on the second level to the south and one more double damage booster is to the north of the blue team base, on the third level. The two speed boosters are positioned next to the team flags.
