Tanki Online - Maps - OsaOsa is a large map on Tanki Online where up to 24 players can take part in a battle; it is also one of a small handful of maps that are the last you can get access to. On looking at the map, it appears to be quite similar to the Kungar map but there are some differences between the two. One thing that is common is that a lot of the battle takes place on or near the longer of the two bridges
The eastern half is mainly a small urban area with a road network and cul-de-sacs, while the western half is largely a grassy area with a series of wooden huts. There are plenty of partial walls scattered around to provide a little more cover. A short bridge runs east to west in the northern part of the battlefield which carries the road over a building while a longer bridge runs north to south across the railway line, connecting two urban areas. Osa is not among the most popular maps, perhaps because access is restricted to higher ranks but the Catch the flag battles are really good once you have a decent number of players taking part. The two team flags are also positioned in very similar locations to that of Kungar with the blue flag in the north east corner and the red team flag in the south west corner. Control Points battles can be every bit as good as the five control points are well spread out across the map. Death Match and Team Death Match battles do take place but seem to be quite rare although I cannot find an explanation as to why, other than perhaps once players reach this level they look more towards team battles. I normally play catch the flag when such a battle is on the menu but must admit rarely create a battle here. Osa is available to players who hold the rank of Warrant Officer 3 and higher in the Ranks Structure. Booster Drop Zones on the Osa MapBelow is the plan of the Osa map showing all the booster drop locations. There are just two repair kits and neither of them really favour the blue team base. One is on the railway track in a central location, the other is at the end of a cul-de-sac in the south east of the battlefield. This is in part evened out with the distribution of the other boosters as there are three double armour boosters in the northern half, while there are only two in south. The southern half has three double damage and three speed boosters, while the north has two double damage and four speed boosters. Attacking and defending bases often means using personal booster supplies, maybe another reason for the apparent lack of popularity.
