Tanki Online - Maps - SiegeSiege is a very large map on two levels, with no roads in sight. There is a fairly large centrally raised section that can be accessed via six ramps and the whole battlefield is surrounded by another raised section with eight ramp access points. Scattered around the lower terrain are a number of small wooden huts and you will find small wall section littered around on all parts of the battlefield. Despite it being a pretty good map, it is not one that you see on the battles menu too often but it has got so much to offer all players.
It is great for Catch the flag, Control Points, Death Match and Team Death Match battles alike but it does help if you have good numbers of people playing and a minimum of eight per team, or 16 in death match mode, should be enough to have a decent battle. It may take a few games to get really familiar with the layout because all the huts look pretty much the same, as do all the walls but for catch the flag battles, try to keep close to the central raised section and hopefully you can run the flag home successfully. The only structure you can use in the first few games to get your bearings are the two high towers. They are slightly different in appearance so provide a useful reference point to knowing where you are on the battlefield. Shaft, Railgun, Smoky, Vulcan and Thunder all have lots of long range shooting opportunities with lots of fairly open terrain. The downside is that you may feel a little exposed and vulnerable at times. Siege is available to players who hold the rank of First Sergeant and higher in the Ranks Structure. Booster Drop Zones on the Siege MapBelow is the plan of the Siege map showing all the booster drop locations. There are just two repair kits, both on the central raised section where you will also find two speed boosters. The outer raised section has two double damage boosters, one in the north and one in the south, both partially hidden behind walls. You can also find four speed boosters up here, with one in each corner. The lower level has four double armour and another four double damage boosters nicely spread out but no others.
