Tanki Online - The TanksYour first tank will be the lowest of the low in terms of speed, firepower and performance but there is a range of great turrets and hulls to be discovered as your experience increases. You begin with an M0 turret and an M0 hull (Mark 0). At the level you are playing in the early stages these are perfectly adequate and will compete with most others, providing you perform some micro upgrades to them.
The range of turrets and hulls is pretty good with each having something a little different to offer. Turrets can shoot napalm, ice, shotgun pellets, high speed projectiles that bounce off walls, give an electromagnetic charge, heavy shells, or rapidly fired smaller shells. The hulls also offer a good range with the quick moving, and appropriately named Wasp through to the big and very heavy hulls that offer great protection but leave you near static for much of the game. When choosing a hull you need to think about what your priority id going to be in battle. If you want to mostly defend a team flag then the likes of Titan or Mammonth are perhaps going to be most suitable, where as if you want a rush of adrenaline and catch heavily defended flags, then one of the quicker hulls is going to be required. Wasp and Hornet are popular options for this approach.
