Tanki Online - Maps - AtraAtra is a reasonably small but interesting map featuring lots of ramps and has three levels. It is not a map I have played too many times but it is one of the better smaller maps on Tanki and great fun in Deathmatch battles. Right in the centre of the map is the highest point, from where you see nearly all of the map below. For a small map, there are a surprising number number of Control Points in that game mode, with an impressive five CP's.
Atra is suitable for most turrets, especially Railgun, Ricochet, Hammer, Isida, Firebird, Smoky, Thunder and Freeze. I have seen Twins, Vulcan and Shaft used on Atra but with limited success. Control Points, Catch the flag, Death Match and Team Death Match games available on the Atra map. If you play a one v one game, the centre point on the highest ground is the position to be in to dominate your opponent. From here the likes of Thunder, Ricochet Hammer and Railgun can rule the roost. Arta is available to players who hold the rank of Warrant Officer 1 and higher in the Ranks Structure. Take a quick tour of the Atra MapBelow is a "Real Time" tour of the Alexsandrovsk Map, showing the flag positions and the most common routes between the two. It also shows most of the supplies drop points along the way.
Booster Drop Zones on the Atra MapBelow is the plan of the Atra map showing all the booster drop locations. There are four speed boosters which will let you race off with the enemy flag in Catch the flag games but beware, there are plenty of ramps and sharp corners that need to be negotiated as you make your way to 'home base'. The two flag locations are on a lower level which rises to a higher level in the centre, which means in many cases you cannot see enemy tanks from each flag position.
