Tanki Online - Maps - BobruiskThe Bobruisk map on Tanki is smaller than it first appears and running a flag from the enemy base to 'home' is a very short run, if you take the direct route. Catch the flag is perhaps the most popular battle that takes place here and just about any turret will feel at home with lots of great places to hide. Attacking each base can be achieved with a degree of stealth as there are several routes in which each can be attacked. There are only three Control Points on Bobruisk, and in all honesty the map could easily fit another one in the south-west corner, and another in the north-east corner, which could possibly improve the battle experience.
Death Match battles can be a little difficult to generate a good points total unless there is a high number taking part. Although on the small side, the Bobruisk map has lots of places to play 'hide and seek', and finding enemy tanks is not always a simple task. Team Death Match battles are also very good, again providing there are sufficient numbers playing the game. Shaft, Vulcan, Thunder, Smoky and Railgun can all take up some superb defensive positions on Bobruisk as the base for the red flag is elevated. On the opposing side, for the blue team, there is a raised section of terrain which lies half way between the two bases, where sniping can be achieved. Ricochet can also be useful, providing it has a long enough range to effectively damage enemy tanks. Firebird, Freeze, Hammer and Isida typically lead the way when it comes to catching flags, although any turret placed on a fast hull always has a good chance of grabbing a flag here. Twins are an excellent defensive weapon on Bobruisk with lots of places to take root and create an element of surprise for the attacking enemy. Bobruisk is available to players who hold the rank of Corporal and higher in the Ranks Structure. Take a quick tour of the Bobruisk MapBelow is a "Real Time" tour of the Take a quick tour of the Bobruisk Map Map, showing the flag positions and the routes between the two. It also shows many of the supplies drop points along the way and one nasty trap for the unsuspecting tanker.
Booster Drop Zones on the Bobruisk MapBelow is the plan of the Bobruisk map showing all the booster drop locations. The blue team flag location is also one of the positions for the Control Points battles, though the red team flag position has not been used in the same way.
Sometimes you feel that there needs to be more Repair Kits somewhere, which means if you are playing a team game, an Isida turret on hand is a huge bonus. Bobruisk however does provide a decent number of Double Damage and Double Armour boosters, along with a healthy number of speed boosts. The Double Armour boxes are not best placed to launch an attack on an enemy base though, so if you intend to to boost your armour, you may need to rely on your personal supply.
