Tanki Online - Maps - SubwaySubway is a medium sized small map but one that is made quite a bit bigger with a subway network below the main base. The subway is actually quite intricate and may take a little getting used to in terms of navigation. That said, the two team flags are not very far apart and quite easy to find once you get familiar with the layout. More often than not, when you enter the battlefield you will find yourself in the upper section where there are a number of buildings. The buildings that have gaps in the wall are where the flags are to be found in Catch the flag mode. The upper level has not really got much to offer if tanks use the subway to run the flag, so hanging around up here could be counter productive.
On the other hand, if most of the battle is going on in the subway, running the flag over-ground is an option but can be hazardous with enemy tanks spawning and the odd Shaft waiting for such an opportunity. Death Match and Team Death Match battles are very rare here, as are most game modes but you can always create your own bespoke battle. Oddly enough, all five of the Control Points are positioned on the upper level, almost leaving the subway redundant in this game mode. I can not for the life of me understand why this has been done but it is what it is. What they have done though is to place three of these points where some of the boosters are to be normally found. Subway is available to players who hold the rank of Warrant Officer 1 and higher in the Ranks Structure. Booster Drop Zones on the Subway MapBelow is the plan of the Subway map showing all the booster drop locations. On the upper level you will find two double armour boosters and one double damage boosters, however these last are replaced by control points when playing that mode. There are also two speed boosters here. In the subway below you will find more speed boosters, double armour boosters and one double damage boosters and even a repair kit. It is these boosters that make the subway worth visiting in control points battles as they are the only boosters to take except for the speed boosters overhead.
